It became a problem when it became obvious that a liberal was going to be voted out of office. The same punch cards were not a problem when same said liberal was voted into office.
The ACLU has an agenda and it isn't good.
i'm assuming ya'll knew that....i was really suprised though, in reading the decision...that the phrase "in a nutshell" was used by the judges in writing the decision....i didn't know that was proper legalese.

It's always good to see the ACLU take a knee in the nads.
sept. 18 president bush took the unusual step of denying categorically that his administration has evidence that connects saddam hussein with the attacks of sept. 11, 2001. weve had no evidence that saddam hussein was involved with september the 11th, bush said.
but critics say the damage is already done and that the administration deliberately kept the theory alive.

Opinions are never facts. I think that's something posters here lose sight of.
simon.
i know it's premature for a post record thread.
because we want to have a drink ready to drink with you!.
Hurry up and post Simon or I'll take off my blouse
guess this kind of goes with the other thread i started about looking at the inner child that is still hurtingk by posting a pic of us when we where kids.. i found this pic of my parents, my mom was just 15,,,,,my dad barely 18, shortly after , they married soon and i was born when my my was just 16. .
just looking at their faces in this moment in time, in this picture, i can see , that they were just kids too, that they were not ready to face the hardships of starting a family so soon.
i am not making excuses for the things they both did,,,,,,,,,,, they both did many things to hurt me.
I've said it before but I'm one of the lucky ones. My parents left the borg when they saw me getting gossiped about. There were many reasons to leave but when I was ready to leave so were they.
I love to look at their old photo albums. Dad took a lot of photos of mom back "in the day". Their wedding photo was taken at Virginia City NV and they were dressesd up as pioneers. Not that kind, the kind that mined for silver 150 years ago.
Lots of you have been put through the mill. I'm sorry for that.
scenario: you meet a person and like this person.
all of your friends tell you to beware of the person.
do you ignore their warnings and give your all to the friendship or are you more cautious than you would have been otherwise?.
My friends opinions matter to me. They can't get me to like or dislike someone based on their opinion alone but in the past they've helped me to see clearly.
it's too long a story.
you'll all laugh anyway.
sometimes it's all just too much for me.. i wish i had my mother and daughters here....
It looks like a lot of people care about you.
